Terms that are not recommended

The American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology Foundation and the Heart Rhythm Society do not recommend the use of following terms when describing conduction disturbances:

  Mahaim-type preexcitation

  Atypical left bundle branch block

  Bilateral bundle-branch block

  Bifascicular block

  Trifascicular block

  Multifascicular block

  Left septal fascicular block.
